Hot dogs?
So, I wish I had a picture of the amazingness that was the grilled hot dogs that my boyfriend made once when I was down visiting…but I can paint one with words.
1 hot dog, filled with cheese, on a toasted bun with ketchup, mustard, mayo, red onion, and a slice of bacon.
Yeah, I like ketchup on hot dogs. I’m not ashamed to admit it!

Me: We talked about going to a club where people wee on each other...and then we drank Bailey's.
Michaelhermansen: Man! Horse taint! I need to pee! But don't want to get up....
Me: Got a bottle handy? It was all the talking about weeing, wasn't it?
Michaelhermansen: "Pee hard, live hard." That's my new motto.
Me: That should be mine, much as I have to pee!
Michaelhermansen: Yours could be, "When in doubt, let it out."
Me: YES!
Have you ever gotten a DM from someone you admire...
But they don’t follow you, so you don’t know if you should respond or not another way. And then once you decide you should, because it’s the friendly thing to do, you deliberate on wording? And then once you find a reasonable wording, you still hesitate…for oh, about 12 hours? Socially awkward? Me? Nahhh….

I went on a run today at lunch!
The first run I’ve been on in more than 3 months!
Well, not so much a run as a jog. Soft j…a y sound…really more of a yog. I went yogging at lunch.
But I feel great! Though you might get a different report if you ask me tomorrow….

Four Ten Ten?

So, I asked my boss for a promotion today
I had my yearly performance review. It was pretty solid, met or exceeded all my targets. Then we started talking about career paths and I was like, “This is my shot!” So, I told her I’d like to be considered and braced myself. I was pleasantly surprised that she said it’s something that is in the works. I was kind of expecting to hear a list of things I needed to do before...

Rental guy: So, how did you like San Francisco?
Me: It was great!
Rental guy: You went down there for some kind of seminar?
Me: No...have you heard of Twitter? It was a tweetup...a Twitter meet-up.
Rental guy: Oh, so you guys sit around texting, "I am eating a sandwich."
Me: Yeah...that's pretty much it.

Hey party people!
I’m hanging out at the Hotel Vertigo with davislove and @MickHD/michaelhermansen! We just drove 12 hours from Portland! We’re drinking wine! I got to hug Ladawn and rinaedin and meet the Smallbones! I might be a little too excited…or maybe that’s the wine!
Tonight, we are planning to do some karaoke at the Encore (and might check out the Mint too, depending on the crowd)....
The entire Internet is in the lobby of Hotel...

Why today is awesome
I have the day off, so I got to sleep in.
I procured the car for tomorrow’s drive from the rental agency…plenty of room in the trunk (not a euphemism…or is it?) and handles well.
I am about to watch my brand new copy of Star Trek on my recently fixed computer (thanks to my man).
I’m picking up davislove later for dinner and a sleepover…hehehe….
