Ganache is basically just heavy cream and chocolate, but I also added butter and whiskey to mine. I made a bunch for my birthday party cupcakes and still have a potful left over. I took it from this recipe, but I improvised with the Irish whiskey to make them...

Tonight, I made a pot roast with garlic, sage, rosemary, and most importantly, Guinness. Then I made a delicious gravy from the beer drippings. Then I made a makeshift chocolate mousse from leftover whiskey ganache, extra whipping cream, and Nutella.
I dropped my toast this morning and it landed...
I would think that was a sign that it’s going to be a great day, except for the fact that I’m home sick.
I guess that it means that when I sleep it off, I’m going to have awesome dreams.
