Grant High Royal Blues Chamber Choir - Ave Maria (Rachmaninoff)
This coming Sunday is the inaugural concert of my alumni choir. I’m excited, partly because it’s been such a long time since I’ve been a part of a group performing in front of an audience. Also, it seems like this will be something like a mini reunion, and I’ll get to see a lot of people I haven’t in a while. It’s had me reminiscing a bit.
This song is not actually something we’ll be performing, but I’ve been listening to old recordings of the choir from my year. This song was one of my favorites to sing. It was a rare occasion that the alto section got to star. This song gave me chills every time we sang it
