This video is full of random objects, people with eyeliner, and freaky things involving eyes; including Dave1’s eyes leaving his head, going for a trip around the neighborhood and getting licked a little by a local bulldog.

Hopefully I’ll get to see these guys in a little over a week. They’re coming to Portland, performing at the Roseland Theater with Holy Ghost and Neon Indian. If I can afford it, I’ll be looking forward to what I expect to be an awesome show.

I was reminded of this song by toosweet4rockandroll’s song post with a similar name, but a different sound. I heard this on Pandora, I think, quite a long time ago and loved it.

Stevie Wonder - Living For The City

Listening to my Prince station on Pandora, which is pretty much chock full of music that makes me feel good. This song is a little weird to be in that category, considering the subject matter and the depressing skit in the middle, but it’s a song that makes me feel good when I sing it. It’s funky yet familiar, and a song I have to belt, which is rather cathartic for me. It’s like singing therapy.

Granted, I can’t sing right here and now, but I still get that feeling from it.
